I do what I do for the love of firearms history (and the groupies!).
That not withstanding, I do get people who occasionally want to express their gratitude for some research I’ve done for them, letters that I wrote them or some other thing that they are grateful for.

Books That Build my Knowledge Base – Books to fill my library and be used as references as I continue my research into various historical firearms. Gotta feed the mind!
Good Stuff That Is Bad For Me – Man does not live by bread alone; unless it’s wrapped around a Wendy’s Triple with bacon and a Cherry Coke, then all bets are off. Gotta feed the machine.
And if folks don’t tip? Doesn’t change a thing. I’m going to keep churning out what I do.
